WEDDING DRESS...

Uhm. What?! I got so much planning done for our wedding in two weeks over break. Keep in mind, we're doing as much of this with help from family and DIY as possible. My family is helping with just about everything on my list. I have a really realistic idea of what this party is going to look like. And that's just what it will be... a party to celebrate our love for each other.

As the organizer that I am, I have created lists to delegate to people to help me while I'm in school. I have so much I need to focus my attention on this semester at school, so I'm trusting (and so thankful for) my family and friends. You guys rock.

But my favorite part? I FOUND MY DRESS. And what's even better? It was within my budget. It was a sample dress, so I got to take it home with me today. $400 for a dress that was originally $1,300? I'll call that a win. I was kinda terrified of the idea of wedding dress shopping. The stories I've heard! But I went with a great recommendation from friends and tried out Blue Bridal in Denver, CO.

I kid you not, it was the first dress I picked out and the second dress I tried on. Of course, I tried on all other dress types to be sure of what I thought I already fell in love with... but OH MY GOODNESS. They mean what they say... you'll just know when you've found the dress. And I got so lucky I found it right away, because really, I had no idea how I was going to go dress shopping a zillion times during school this semester.

Finding a dress at the first bridal shop I went to? It might have been beginner's luck. Or dumb luck. Or fate. Or something. Either way, I found the perfect dress for me.

My dress is a dream come true. My fiancé is even dreamier. This wedding is going to be a fantastic party. My life with M will be even more fantastic.

I'm so freaking jazzed.
